ABSTRACT: This study aims to analyze the effect of Principal Leadership and Training on Teacher Performance mediated by Teacher Competence. The population of this research is teachers who have been teaching for more than one year at SMK Sumpah Pemuda West Jakarta with a sample of 60 (sixty) teachers. The data analysis method used is Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with SmartPSL 4.0. The results showed that Principal Leadership and Training directly had a positive and significant effect on Teacher Performance and Teacher Competence. Teacher Competence directly has a positive and significant effect on Teacher Performance. Principal Leadership and Training have a positive and significant effect on Teacher Performance mediated by Teacher Competence.
